Hanging in there

Please ignore my roots, but this is me 35 wks pregnant with the babe.  I had tried something new with my hair, but it didn't turn out so this was a quick fix. No worries, I will be getting my hair done next week, right in time for my close up.  Last time I was pregnant I went to the hospital with roots this large... can you say regret?

I am now 37 wks pregnant and pretty sure I'm not taking any more pictures ;)  I haven't gained weight in the past 5 wks, which is amazing to me, but still I weigh a lot already and I'm ready to have her out so I can finally get back to my old self or 50lbs lighter than that.

It's been a really easy pregnancy so far and the girls have been great, really adjust well so far to the idea of a new baby, only time will tell when I am feeding her and paying attention to her if they are as "ok" as  I think they are.  I am trying to pay lots of attention to them now and figure out how to include them in as much preparation as possible.

The girls have been so much fun lately.  Now that we are pretty down pat with potty training and only a few casualties a week from Ella it really feels like they are big girls.  Now only time will tell when I will put them in toddler beds instead of their cribs... don't judge me.   They are having lots of fun dressing up in costumes and princess tutu's and outfits with crowns and necklaces and earrings, they are so cute.  Recently they got a small version of a dollhouse (larger version comes on their 3rd B-day in a few months) and they have had a blast with this dollhouse playing and pretending.. I love listening to them as they play together and act out what the people are doing and saying! It really tells me how they perceive me as a mother because they have the mom saying to the baby: "It's okay honey, mommy is here, I love you and I will keep you safe."  ---makes me feel good that they aren't saying the OTHER things I say, such as, "you are driving me nuts" ... or ..."I'm going to spank you so hard".... or.... "get outta here and give me privacy"... At least they are portraying me in a good light!

Here are a few pictures of our favorite dress ups...
Ella my Alligator... she is busy, don't bother her, she is watching "Tomatoes"  also known by the general public as: Veggie Tales.

And this is my chubby cheeked clown Ava dressed as a pig... I love these kids.
