The Girls at 10 Months

Hello All,

Here are some pictures of the girls from their photoshoot in Michigan . They are 10 months now and the girls keeping me busy! Ella loves to make silly faces and loves to cuddle and give hugs and kisses in the morning and anytime you pick her up. She will walk when you hold her hands and she likes to stand up and play, but she will not pull-up to do so, she likes for the other person to do the work, so she will reach, but then needs your guidance to continue to pull up. She is a happy little baby and loves to eat pasta with sauce. Anything she can pick up and feed herself she likes. She likes to feed herself. She is into imitating everything, facial expressions, sign language, clapping, sounds, blowing bubbles, she is my little imitator. She has the red hair, well more strawberry blonde and it is just long enough on top to actually attach a bow instead of headbands. She has two teeth on bottom and loves to show them, Daniel calls her snake teeth. She loves to smile at her Daddy whenever he comes in the room, and make her nose scrunched up and does a "stink face." When she is eating in her highchair she tells stories to the pictures of the people on the fridge.. it is sooo cute! She is such a joy and I love to kiss her little sweet face to pieces~!

Ava is a wild child. She only cuddles for short seconds but likes to put her head down on everything. She crawls everywhere, pulls up on everything, finds her way into everything, puts anything she can grab in her mouth, always babbling, but refuses to do sign language, she just screams for what she wants. She loves pasta as well and veggies. She likes to eat peaches and puffs and baby crackers (mum-mums) Ava is always smiling with her two bottom teeth showing and constantly trying to get the remote or my phone. She loves books, she likes opening them, she likes them read to her, she likes to grab all the books and drag them to a corner she made for herself where she lays on a pillow and looks at books. Ava has found her way to climb up on the couch and when you tell her "no" she stops looks at you and smiles.. then maybe will back off and maybe will keep going, but continues to look at you. If you say, "Ava Paige" She then will stop and come to you. Ava is such a personality, she likes to chat with you and is always up for playing. If someone is sad she is the first to come to you and put her head down on you, once she even wiped my tears and put her face on my face when I was sad. She is a sweetie.

Over all I love love love these crazy little babies and I am in for a real treat as they get older and continue to keep me on my toes!~

Outfits I made The Girls

These outfits I made for the girls, the letters were iron on and I put the ribbon on and the bow attached with hot glue.. then I made the headbands with the bows as well.

Grandparents Pictures

My Dad thinks I'm crazy!

Hey dad! Ya reading this? well, I know you think I"m crazy because I share too much personal information (breastfeeding post)... aren't you used to that after being married to Mommy foro 45 years? Well, I am her daughter... keyword... daughter, so get used to it. Sometimes I think you forget I'm a girl... and I am silly. I know you don't like me cause I say what I think, read trashy magazines instead of reading books or the paper, watch 90210 & watch Entertainment news instead of world news, Like Michael Jackson, don't have my fridge door open on the right side, have a light that hangs too low that you bump your head on, don't use or own an ironing board except the one you bought me, and occasionally let the batteries go out of the clocks around my house and oh, my personal favorite... keep stacks of bills sitting around my kitchen instead of filed :) BUT, I am your daughter and lets face it your favorite child... and you love me anyways. And I love you, I think you are the best Dad in the whole world and I married a man that I thought could come close to you and he does, but I still think you are the best, so anything you say I usually listen to. So, in turn I will not post weird posts on my blog about breastfeeding if you say so you silly old man!

I love you,
Laura

Enjoy the pictures!

I did it for 10 months... why do I feel guilty?

Every breastfeeding mom might know what I am thinking. I have breast fed 2 babies at the same time for 10 months now. They have just recently started to wean themselves and it is coming to an end, but I am feeling guilty for stopping, like people will be disappointed in me or something. Daniel has never made me feel that way and I know I have done a good job, I just feel like when I stop I will be letting people down, or their expectations of me or something. Maybe because it was that I was so proud that I was STILL breastfeeding after this long and stopping before 1 year would fall short of my initial goal? I don't know why I feel this guilt, but am I crazy?
