Happy St. Patty's Day

 HAPPY ST. PATTY's DAY!

Sissy Kisses!  We are doing our spring break thing, trying to hang out with teacher friends that usually work during the week, going to parks and just taking every opportunity to try to do fun things!

I've been feeling pretty good lately and my parents just came for a visit, I will post some of the pictures form the visit soon!

Hope everyone has a wonderful St. Patty's Day!

Baby Nursery Hopes

unknown.jpg

This is the crib we ordered and have gotten, it's very girly so I LOVE it!

We are painting the room the light pink in the background of this next picture... I am doing a chair rail, so the light pink will be on top and then a light green on the bottom of the white chair rail.  On the wall we are putting the crib on, there will be pink stripes, alternating pale pink and a little lighter pink... very subtle.

This is the bedding we ordered from Pottery Barn.. I did the girls room in bold colors, so I wanted to do this baby room in soft colors, very delicate and sweet! The bedding is on backorder till July 5th, so we will get it RIGHT before baby girl born!more-views.html.jpg

We want a chandelier like this, but they are hard to find not so expensive, but I am hoping to get something like this at Hobby Lobby and continue to make it my own if I have to! I want to hang in in the corner over the rocking chair...my friend is letting us have her plush lazyboyish rocking chair with ottoman.. :) It's a light light greenish color...

My parents bought the girls a pottery barn chair for their rooms for Christmas, so I am hoping to get this one eventually for the new baby, so she can have her own little reading chair!

I ordered this pillow sham to go with the quilt/bedding ordered from Pottery Barn, it's nice cause you can put the baby's name on it!

I got this to go over the baby's dresser

I think we are going to get a plain white dresser from Walmart or Target or somewhere, something with drawers that I can put the changing pad on top of.   Something like this!

Update cause I'm bad

So here is a little update on our life! The girls are 2 1/2 now and do and say the funniest things.  They are huge talkers and talk in full sentences most of the time.  Today we were watching a Sandals Resort commercial on TV where there was a beautiful Blonde haired woman in a bikini running on the beach and Ella says, "look mommy! It's You!" Why yes, yes it is Ella... and thank you for thinking of me that way!  WE are in the process of potty training the girls... Ava is pretty much there, but Ella seems to have no interest.  She says, "I can't want to Mommy, " which is fine by me, I'll take her lead... unless of course she STILL doesn't want to by the time she is 3 and the baby comes.. in that case I WON"T be buying anymore diapers for the girls... so she will have no choice.  Really it's about me being lazy too, I have to be honest, I'm not feeling motivated to get up and take them, sometimes it's nice to be out in public and not have to find the dirty public restroom and always worry about an accident... but I know I need to bite the bullet, that was just the truth.. the truth about my laziness!

So we had our big ultrasound yesterday and it went very well.  I always worry about the big one, where they measure all the parts.. because I can't believe God has blessed me with 3 girls and I feel like what did I do to deserve to be so lucky.. like the ball will drop or something.  Anyways, baby butterfly looked beautiful, she had all her parts and the sonographer pointed out all the things working like her ability to swallow and her kidneys working and her bladder was full so they know she can urinate and her kidneys processing the urine. Her brain looked good and her heart had all four chambers, her spine was looking good... and all I have to say is PRAISE GOD! Such a miracle to have a healthy baby! She was moving around and kicking me lots and I could feel it and it was fun seeing it and feeling what was happening at the same time.  Daniel has just recently been able to feel the baby kicking.. which didn't happen till 24wks with the girls... it was MUCH longer with them... he has such tough hands he had to put his face on there with the girls, this time he could feel it with his hands at 20wks. :)  Baby Butterfly is measuring 1 week behind.. which they said was totally normal, she is still in the average range, she might just be small.  I always like to think about what size baby will I have just having one.  The girls weighed 5lbs some odd ounces... so now I want to know will I have a 6lb baby or a 7lb baby... please? :) haha

My friend Keelin sent the girls a package with these masks and some cute clothes and things for the new baby.. Daniel tried to get some pictures.. obviously Ella is not happy over not getting to color... :)

And this Baby Is..........

A Girl!!!!!!

We are excited to announce we are having another little girl in July! Her name will be Lilah!

The choices for middle names: Lilah Sloane, Lilah Sophia, Lilah Kate, Lilah Reese, Lilah Gwen... I think the winner might be Lilah Sloane, but Daniel won't agree 100% yet.  He doesn't read this blog so maybe I can go out on a limb and say it will be that! haha, nah, I'll let him decide!

We are really happy to be having a girl, even though we already have 2 we wanted a baby and whatever it was going to be we would have been just as excited!

She looks like she has a beard... hoping it's just a shadow!

Mitchell Baby #3

We don't have any pictures to post, but lots of news!....... for those of you who follow this blog besides my parents... we are having another baby!!!!  July 18th the baby is to arrive! We don't know the gender yet, but we plan to find out soon, until then we like to play the name game... well, let me rephrase that... I like to play the name game, Daniel won't agree!  I think it will be Hudson for a boy and Lilah for a girl, but we don't know middle names yet!

In other news, my family all came for the holidays and we had a great time!  It was nice to be around everyone and they all got to see our new house! The girls had a great time with all their cousins and enjoyed "telling" everyone about their new baby brother or sister coming.

Sorry we haven't been posting pictures, our computer broke, so we had to get a new one and we are still figuring things out, so give us some time and we will be back to steady picture posting!

Trick Or Treat

Every year I try to dress up, I always go with something simple.. this year it was a cat... which I was in College one year and I went around saying, "I'm a cat, Meow"  Which I taught to my kids this year.. and most houses Ava announced to Everyone that "Mommy is a cat, meow."  Everyone laughed!
Ella getting ready to go Trick or Treating... do you see these $8 trick or treat bags?  That is what happens when you go to buy a 99 cent pumpkin bag and you wait till the day before and all they have left are these... Good thing I could "sell" them to Daniel... "yeah honey, they can use them every year... and for Easter baskets... and Birthday... and dress up... they are all purpose."

Picking our flowers before we went...

Ella ready to go, She said, "Happy Halloween & Trick or Treat " to everyone! She wasn't shy at all!

Ava kept saying, "Lets go to the next house".... (Some had their lights off, so I guess I kept saying that... by the end of the night she said it.)
We met up with our cousins Claire and Andrew to go trick or treating, they came to our neighborhood.  This was the first house... Snow White! :)
