We love our walker!

picture frames

I made these picture frames for their tutu pictures to place in their room. I wanted something unique that was funky, so I made my own!

Ava loves her reflection

First of all Ava LOVES books, she'd rather books than toys! When we read her this specific book that has mirrors in it, she loves to kiss her reflection in the mirror.. apparently she thinks her face is too cute to pass up... and I'd have to agree!

11 Months

So the girls were 11 months yesterday and I just can't believe it. They are just so funny these days. They are really into giving eachother kisses, it is so cute, you say, "give sister kisses" and they both pucker up and kiss eachother on the mouth several times and wait for you to say "how sweet!"

Ella has just started crawling, now I know that is late, but she has always just been an observer, content to sit back and watch, but I was always told to just relax and let her do it at her own pace, and she has! I am so proud of her! Ava is everywehre, she like to push around her little push walker toy everywhere. If Ella tries to play with it, Ava will try to give Ella another toy instead like a peace offering saying, "don't play with my toy, so here is a toy for you to play with!" It is funny, Ella is very willing to just let Ava have her way most of the time, but lately she has had a little tude on her and will cry if Ava tries to push her away from the toys.
3-6 mmo
They are both saying "Uhhh-Oh" when they drop toys or intentionally drop food from their trays so that I will pick it up or their cup so that I will pick it up! I hate that game! :) They love it! Ella and Ava both love to dance to the "Hot Dog" song on Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, they are glued to it! I know I shouldn't let them watch too much TV, but after hours of playing with them on the ground, I figure Mickey can hang out with them for awhile. They say Mamma and Dadda, Ella can say "Hi" and "bye" those are more approximations of the word. They are waving and when you ask Ella how big she is she will raise her hands above her head.. "So big!" When Ava is crawling around she constantly will be getting into things, like opening and closing doors.. if you tell her "no, NO" she shakes her head no, but continues to smile at you and do it anyways. Occasionally she will listen and come back to not do it. They are both in 9 month clothes, but Ella wore a 3-6 month outfit the other day and a 0-3 month outfit as well.. she is tiny! She can fit into some of her old clothes, but mainly she wears 6-9 month stuff. Ava can fit into only bigger things. Ella weighs 17lbs 4oz with her diaper, clothes, shoes and paci in. Ava weighs about 19lbs. So they are still tiny... I think they are big, but when I see them compared to other kids they look so small.. but when I look at them I think they are my chunky monkey girls.

Bottom line I am having the time of my life and I can't believe they are almost one! My parents will be here for their 1st bday party and it is a cupcake theme... they will be cute, wearing tutus and cupcake rinestone shirts with the number one on them! Pictures will be taken!

Nothing to do with Babies

Okay, so this has nothing to do with the babies, but I have been obsessed with reading other peoples blogs lately, I mean I think I have a problem, I just read about crafts and cooking and their lives with their babies. I really am enjoying making things from people's food blogs, I have made several recipes lately and Daniel has enjoyed the cooking! BUT, I spend all my time when the girls go to bed staying up late reading the blogs.. it is crazy, but now I am TIRED!!!

Bath party

My Friend Kourtney just bought a house right down the street from us in our subdivision, so I am so pumped to have a friend living close to me! When she was over on the 4th we all put our kids to bed so we could hang out.. (it was their bedtime) but anyways, we bathed them all together. Her son Turner is only 6 months old but has had every mans dream... bathing with twin girls.

I'm a Yankee Doodle Dandy!

We had friends over with their kids for the 4th of July and then watched the fireworks at night! The girls did great and went to bed early cause they were so tired from the festivities in the day, so they missed the fireworks, but thats okay, they'll see them next year! I made them these bows for their hair, but looks like they don't like the headbands anymore, I have to bribe them with a cracker to distract them from pulling out their bows, then they forget they are in their hair... now if they would just GROW some more beautiful red hair I could just clip the bows in that, but it looks like we are on a long road of hair growth... but I am one of those moms who will not be cutting my little girls hair for awhile, I want them to have long long hair... cause finally then people will stop asking if their BOYS! boooo... how could they... I mean, look at my cutie little girls!

My Silly little ladies!

Ella likes to make that "stink face" it is sooo cute in person, cause if you do it she will do it back!

Ava pulling her bow out, then Ella just sitting relaxing!
