The Holidays

Lilah Sloane 5 months-
She is eating solids now, she has had avocado, plums and sweet potatoes. She loves sweet potatoes! She likes to laugh and makes lots of sounds, I think she will be an early talker like the girls were.  She is moving into size 2 diapers but they are still pretty big.  She wears anywhere between 0-3 month clothes to 3-6 month stuff, I think she is long, so some of the girls clothes don't fit her cause she is so long.  She goes to bed in her crib after a bath and a bottle and she sleeps there till about 4am.. then she wakes up and I nurse her and she sleeps the rest of the night next to me.  I probably could move her, but at that point I am so tired and lets face is... who wouldn't want to snuggle that face? :)  The girls are so helpful with her, she takes 3 naps a day and they play with her in between and also are so understanding of when I have to hold her or care for her.

Lilah loves her playmat, her swing, her bouncy chair... she is jolly in all of these, but what she loves the most, IS... to be held. Spoiled baby!

The girls had an absolute blast, we all went out trick or treating, the girls went to about 40 houses, they did great, they were fine when we told them we were going to go back to the house and hand out candy. (last year they were a disaster when we had to be done)  We came back and sat out in our driveway along with our other Neighbors in their driveways handing out candy. ... I had 4 bags of candy and we ran out in 10 minutes... we got hit hard, so I started handing out extra Valentines Day suckers we had ... don't judge me. Then we ran out of those and had to pack up and turn the lights out...umm, wouldn't ya know it we had several trick or treaters still ringing our bell even though we had our lights out... Don't they know the rules?

Well, Lilah is officially 3 months which seems like it went way too fast. :( Maybe because it's my last baby or because I am busy with the other 2 but it seems like Lilah is just growing up and hitting milestones way faster than I remembered!  She rolled over this week for the first time, which was weird cause I had the camera right there so I captured the 2nd time she ever did it on camera! :)  She is wearing size 1 diapers still and she probably weighs 11lbs, maybe 12 if we are lucky, but she is small so I think 11.  She is just starting to wear 3 month clothes, although they are big.  She smiles all the time and has started to giggle!  She likes to stick her tongue out when she smiles and makes the saddest sad face when she is upset, it's paired with the saddest noise too.. it makes you just want to eat her!
