Girls First Birthday

The girls had their first bday party this Saturday. They had such a blast. We had over 40 people here and lots of kids here, it was a wild time, FAJITAS for everyone! My parents were able to come visit which was sooo wonderful because they got to meet all of my friends again and see all the children that have been born since they were last visiting. Also, they helped so much and the girls had a blast with their Grammy and Papa!

I miss "Dada"

Yesterday Daniel left for 5 days and we MISS HIM! Last night when I put the girls to bed Ava sat in her crib indian style crying, "dada dada." It was THE saddest cry! She only wanted Daniel to be here to lay her in her crib. They both really miss him and so do I.

I know i have to be a strong mom and get through it, but I am really wishing that he was back, although he needs time away to have fun fishing and golfing! I am so thankful that they have such a great Daddy that puts them to bed every night that when he isn't here they truly miss him!

Isn't this funny!! She Ella can go from Extreme happy to the saddest sad face you have ever seen! And then back to smiling! What a silly girl!

New toys!

Here are the girls playing with their new toys! It is a dancing toy, so they stand and dance with the bear on top! They LOVE it! Ella will stand there all day and dance with the bear, she also tried to lean in and give it kisses!

Practicing walking

My big girls. Ella practices walking around the house with Daddy. She is in her diaper because she was about to eat dinner. We eat dinner in our diaper around here! Saves me from trying to get stains out and I hate cleaning bibs! :)


Ava is my little escape artist. Here she is crawling into the kitchen and hoping I will chase her, when she gets in there she turns around to see if you are watching her! Then I called her back in the room and she came back to me!
